  • step 1

    Measure all the ingredients exactly or use a tall glass and your empty yogurt pot for speed – they don’t have to be exact. Put them into a blender and blitz until smooth. Pour into 1 tall glass (you’ll have enough for a top up) or two short tumblers.

Very nice and tofu is a great way to add protein but you can't taste it at all, the only thing is cherry juice is hard to find and very expensive. I used cherry cordial which is a bit too sweet but I couldn't find an alternative.

Sunflower - eggs in vegetarian recipes are fine as we eat eggs as protein. Look for VEGAN recipes and you'll find no eggs there.

It's a cultural thing - some cultures consider eggs akin to meat, seemingly for the reasons expressed below, but will still eat cheese for example. I've come across this in Chennai before. In the Western world then yes, it's wise to then seek out vegan recipes.
