bbcgoodfood.com's sub-editor has worked as a food writer, reviewer and speedy sub in Australia, Ireland and England.

After spending her early 20s tracing her roots and developing a fondness for Guinness and oysters in Ireland, Andrea returned to Australia, finally finished her journalism degree, and started writing on everything from fashion to food for Melbourne magazine and other Australian guide books.

Before too long, itchy feet struck again, and Andrea returned to Ireland, to work as newspaper sub, television script writer and deputy editor for Food & Wine magazine.

A desire to give it a shot in London had her packing her bags once again, this time to work for her dream website bbcgoodfood.com where she gets to combine her love of good food and bad puns on a daily basis, while learning all about the wonderful world wide web too.
